Tamarind House is a four bedroom villa located on the Anse Chastanet Road near Soufriere, knowned to be one of if not the most beautiful part of the island Saint Lucia. It is situated on a sloping hillside facing southeast, south and west with marvellous sunsets 365 days a year. It has unmatched views of the iconic Piton mountains - the iconic image of St. Lucia and views of St Vincent on clear days. This property constitutes of a main house with three bedrooms and an additional one bedroom cottage.There is a large pool and tennis court on the property. The villa is built of stone, Barbados clay tiles and local hardwoods.
A large circular courtyard filled with banana trees, flowering vines and ferns sits is the entrance to this heaven. Multiple terraces provide privacy and space with all units locking up securely and easily. The fifth bedroom above the courtyard entrance can be used as caretakers bedroom and bath or staff room and bath.
The pool has a pilot salt water system and new diamond brite surface installed in 2019.The electrical components of the property were upgraded in the summer of 2020. There is a professional size tennis court with Swiss made bio flex surface, perfect for the tropics as it dries in five minutes after rainfall.
Tamarind House has been owned by one owner since it was built. It has been immaculately maintained for 41 years and performs well on the vacation rental market,comfortably exceeding basic running costs.
